Collection of your Personal Information

In the process of providing the make-up and/or personal styling lessons/courses of Jane Mather Ltd personally identifiable information, such as your email address, name, home address, age, country of residence is collected.

Jane Mather Ltd does not obtain the following sensitive personal information: race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, or trade union membership. We do not collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

In the Data Protection Act the age for processing personal data is 13 years or older.  By accessing this site and / or making any enquiries / purchases through it, you certify that you are 13 years or older.

Jane Mather Ltd uses Mailchimp to manage its newsletters (marketing communications).  You can register for the newsletter by filling in your details on the form in the footer of www.janemather.co.uk.  You will also be registered if you purchase courses from Jane Mather Ltd and explicitly opt-in as part of completing Jane Mather Ltd's new account set-up process and/or become a member of FLOURISH, the Jane Mather Make-up & Style Academy.  Jane Mather Ltd aim to send a newsletter once a month, no more than twice.  Jane Mather Ltd gathers statistics around email opening and clicks using the analytical tools provided by Mailchimp, this helps monitor and improve newsletters.  You have the right to stop receiving these newsletters at any point by either emailing [email protected] or by pressing the 'unsubscribe' button at the bottom of the newsletter.

Jane Mather Ltd uses social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest, the website (www.janemather.co.uk) is built upon and hosted with SquareSpace, the tutorial library website (www.academy.janemather.co.uk) is built and hosted on the Thinkific platform, and the following payment gateways are used by the Company: Paypal & Stripe.  Any private messages received via these platforms are stored on those platforms.  At no point does Jane Mather Ltd have access to your payment card details - it is your responsibility to ensure that on making a purchase you are accessing the Paypal / Stripe website and if/when you are asked to set up a password it’s your responsibility to keep this safe and secure.
